HOMEDisco Demons aka Jakob Bouchal started DJing back in 2007. He was heavily influenced by the overdriven trademark sound of the Ed Banger generation floating somewhere between dirty electro synths, hammering tech-house beats and crystal-clear techno basslines – with a subtle touch of Balkan brass, Portuguese Kuduro rhythms and Latin trumpets.
Constantly shredding genre boundaries, each DJ set is a unique cross section of his exceptionally diverse music collection, spiced up with live sound manipulation, experimental effects and elaborate samples, making use of the infinite possibilities of MIDI-controllers.
And by the way, Disco Demons also stands for an electronic music blog, where the latest tracks not only in clubs but also with a huge international audience on a daily basis is shared. Further it´s shuffled with ticket competitions, event reviews and interviews with the likes of Vitalic and Alex Gopher.
